May 12th, 2017

3rd & 4th class pupils went to Wolfe Tones GAA club today to play a hurling blitz with pupils from St Senan’s, St Conaire’s and St Aidan’s. They had great fun and a number of them were surprised at how good they were at hitting the ball. Thank you to Peter Casey for organizing the event. We cannot wait to take part again on the 16th of June.

First Holy Communion

May 11th, 2017

Second class made their First Holy Communion last Saturday, the 6th of May. The children worked so hard to learn their prayers and songs for this special day. They also did a fabulous job on the art work displayed for the altar of the church.

A big thanks to Father Arnie for a lovely ceremony and to Ms. Edel Haliday who worked with the choir and the children in 2nd class on their beautiful songs!!!

Special thanks to Ms. O’Neill who has worked so hard with the children since September, preparing them for their big day.

I’m sure everyone is as proud of their child as we are here at St. Tolas!!! They looked fabulous on the day!! Well done 2nd class!!!!
