Dear Parents/Guardians,

 We hope you are well as we come to end of another busy week. Our news is as follows

  • Congratulations to all on a fantastic Sport For All day yesterday. We were blessed that the weather was kind to us and we were able to run off all activities as planned. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work in ensuring the day ran so smoothly. Thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us throughout the day. It was lovely to see so many of you. Thank you to the pupils who participated in every event with such enthusiasm and good humour. It was lovely to see so many pupils with a positive sporting attitude – encouraging each other and wishing each other well.

  • The end of year school reports will be posted to every family today. If you have a query in relation to the school report please contact your child’s teacher. As this last week is very busy it is a good idea to make an appointment so that your child’s teacher will be available to speak with you.
  • Our end of year school Mass will take place on Thursday next at 11a.m. with the 6th class graduation taking place directly after.
  • We are accepting payment for school books for the next school year. If it suited you to pay now the school office will be open until 7th July up to 3p.m. each day.

  • The first four rounds of the annual Quizbrain of St. Tolas were completed on Tuesday last. The top 20 now go through to the two semi-final rounds. The first semi-final will take place tomorrow Friday with the second one taking place on Monday next. The top five will go through to the final which will take place on Thursday next at 1p,m, Best of luck to everyone.
  • Tolas will close for the summer holidays on Friday next 30th June at 12p,m. We hope everyone will have a good week as we head towards the end of the current school year.
  • The Board of Management have published their annual report for the school year 2016/17 and it will be sent home today with the Thursday Note and also available on the school website.
