Chicks Departure

June 22nd, 2017

We were all very sad in St Tola’s to see the departure of our 7 chicks that hatched in  school. Gerard from Inagh Free Range Farm came to pick them up last Friday. He brought some of the chicks older brothers and sisters to show everyone how quickly the chicks will grow and what they will look like in a few short months. The chicks had a great time touring from classroom to classroom throughout the week!

3rd & 4th Class School Tour

June 22nd, 2017

3rd & 4th Class went on their school tour to Nevsail Watersports in Kilkee. They had a very exciting day doing kayaking, sailing, surfing, orienteering and team building games. We had a lot of very happy and tired pupils on our journey back to school!

First Class School Tour

June 22nd, 2017

On Tuesday the 13th of June, First Class travelled to Limerick and went to Dreamland and bowling.
Dreamland was lots of fun and the children were very excited playing in the imaginative area. We travelled to Disneyland Florida and Mexico, we did our weekly shopping, we were firefighters and we created new hair styles. We all had great fun going down the slide.
We went bowling after Dreamland and the children were very good at it. The winner of each group were given a teddy.
Overall it was a great day.

Olympic Champion Visit

June 16th, 2017

We were delighted to welcome Róisín Fitzgerald to our school Cruinniú today, to show us two medals she won in race-walking and javelin last weekend. We never had an Olympic winner in our school before so thanks for showing us your medals Róisín. Thanks also for all your help in the classes and with Tracey over the past year. We will miss you when you’re gone!
