Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well this week as we begin the busy month of December. Our news is as follows

  • 3rd – 6th classes are busy getting ready for their performances for the Variety Show next week. There will be two performances – Wednesday 12th Dec  and Thursday 13th Dec next. Tickets are selling fast and Wednesday is now fully sold. There are still seats available for Thursday but once they are gone they are gone! Tickets may be purchased from the school office and are priced at €10 for adults, €5 for second level students and €2.50 for primary pupils.

  • Thank you to all parents who have supported our GRAND RAFFLE. We would ask that all cards are returned by tomorrow. The draw will take place at the variety show. The list of prizes are as follows  – WEDNESDAY’S DRAW- €100 One for All voucher, Dinner for two from Shannon Springs Hotel, €20 voucher from Easons,  a pendant from Tadhg Kearney jewellers, €50 voucher for Shannon Palace Chinese, €50 voucher for Shannon Knights, €50 voucher for J.P.Clarkes, afternoon tea at the Radisson Limerick, a hamper from Hillery’s Pharmacy  a perfume set,  a Sweets Hamper, an original painting by Brian O’ Shaughnessy. THURSDAY’S DRAW – €50 voucher for Bunnratty Manor, voucher for diner for two in the Park Inn, €50 voucher for Shannon Palace Chinese, 8 class fitness card for Shannon Leisure centre, ikidz box, Afdternoon tea at the Inn at Dromoland,a Wolfe Tones hoodie, Men’s aftershave set, a hamper worth€120 from Shannon Airport. If your number does not come out in Wednesday’s draw it is still valid for Thursday. If you are not pesent at the draw we will hold onto your prize for you.  
  • The Christmas performances for Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st and 2nd classes will take place on Wednesday 19th December. The times are as follows
JUNIOR INFANTS 9.30A.M.
SENIOR INFANTS 10 A.M.
1ST CLASS 10.25A.M.
2ND CLASS 10.50A.M.

 

  • Hip hop classes have finished until after Christmas. They will resume again on Tuesday 15th january at 2.40p.m. in the hall.
  • Our annual Carol service will take place on Friday 21st december at 10a.m. in the hall. All are welcome to attend. This is always a lovely way to get into the Chrismas spirit.
