Thursday Note 13th December 2018

December 17th, 2018

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well as we head ever closer to Christmas. Our news this week is as follows

  • Thank you to all our pupils, staff and parents for a wonderful 40th Anniversary Variety Show last night. It was great to see so many parents here in the school last night.  Thank you to the Parents’ Association for organising the tuck shop and refreshments. We are all looking forward to another wonderful show tonight. The show will start at 7p.m. sharp and we need the pupils from 3rd– 6th class in the school by 6.30p.m. Both nights have been a sell out. All monies raised will go towards our yard re-development fund. We hope to extend and improve the front yard to give us more space that can be used year round. This is a terrific start to our fundraising.

  • Thank you to all the parents and family members who bought tickets for our Grand Raffle. A number of prizes were drawn last night with the remainder to be drawn tonight. Thank you to our generous sponsors who donated so many wonderful prizes. Prizes tonight are

Bunratty Manor Voucher €50 voucher; Park Inn Dinner for 2; Shannon Palace Chinese €50 voucher; Shannon Leisure Centre Card for 10 classes; IKYDZ-parental internet safety box; Afternoon tea at Inn at Dromoland; Hamper from Duty Free Shannon; Original Painting by Brian O’Shaughnessy; Parents Association Hamper; 2 x prizes of a Gift Set of Wine; Easons voucher for €20; 2 x prizes of a Back Baller from Noel Marshall.
