Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well. Our news this week is as follows

  • Well done to the pupils from 3rd-6th classes who represented St. Tola’s last Saturday night at the Peace Proms Concert in UL. It was a fantastic opportunity to sing with other schools from all around the Mid West and the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland. The pupils also got to hear some amazing and talented soloists. Thank you to Ms. Halliday for all her hard work since the start of the year on co-ordinating this event and in teaching the pupils the songs to such a high standard. This will take place here in the school on Tuesday March 26th at 7.30p.m. Dr. Maureen Griffin is a forensic psychologist specialising in the area of online offending. Through her work she came to realise the importance of working with children to give them tools to keep them safe while online and also to  support  those who care for children. More details will follow on this talk next week but we hope that at least one parent/guardian for each child in the school will be able to attend this workshop.
