1st Class Getting Fit!!
May 10th, 2019First Class have been making a super effort to improve their fitness levels. We have been running every day and have nearly reached our target of running to Wales!! The children love this time out of the classroom and we definitely have seen an improvement in everyone’s fitness levels across the board!! Even on wet days when we don’t get outside the children get to do exercises in the classroom. Let’s keep it going everyone!!!!

3rd Class Running Challenge

3rd class are almost half way to reaching their goal of running 976km to Brussels. Well done all for the super effort!
Having fun coding Bee Bot!
May 8th, 20191st Class children teamed up with 5th class and had super fun learning to code Bee Bots. Children learned all about directions and took turns moving Bee Bot around a maze, tracing numbers, Maths trails, etc. It was a great start in learning to code for the children.
1st Class enjoying STEM week
May 8th, 2019Children in 1st Class enjoyed the many activities that took place during STEM week. They worked in groups to plan, design and create a safe koala enclosure which tied in with our theme of Australia. It was a great experience for the children to work collaboratively together and present their projects to the rest of the school. 1st Class children also got to enjoy projects from other classes during the presentations in the halla.
