Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well as we head towards the Christmas break. Our news this week is as follows

• Rehearsals are in full swing here for our Christmas shows. These will take place next Wednesday with the timetable below:

• If you have spare nativity costumes that you no longer require we would be delighted to accept them here in the school where they would be put to good use.
• 4^th class visited Shannon Leisure Centre last Monday where they got to enjoy a training session in tag rugby, soccer and games organised by LCA students and Ms. Cooney from St. Patricks Comprehensive. They were then invited to the canteen in the Comp where they got a snack and a drink. We would like to thank the LCA students and Ms. Cooney for organising this enjoyable event.
• Junior Infants have been busy writing letters to Santa Claus, putting them into envelopes and “posting” them as part of their Aistear theme at the moment. Well done Juniors!
• The class calendars were delivered to the school yesterday evening and are being distributed to those who ordered them today. Once again thank you to our Parents’ Association for organising this and to the many parents who have supported this.
• Our annual carol service will take place next Friday 20^th December at 10a.m. parents/guardians are welcome to attend if they wish.
• St. Tola’s will close for the Christmas holidays on Friday 20^th Dec at 12p.m. We will re-open on Monday 6^th January at 9a.m.
