Stay at home activities 2nd Class
May 22nd, 2020Some amazing work from home over the past few weeks!!! A huge variety of work too which is great to see!! Well done to all the girls and boys in 2nd and to their parents also!
Great work on the Steam challenge using skittles (Yummy!!) Beautiful Rockets created. Amazing art work too, beautiful sketches of the Solar system and pictures of whales!!
Great to see children working on their Maths capacity challenges at home! Wow!
Glad to see some children out and about gardening and painting in the sunshine. Fabulous written work in Irish and English homework !! Super projects on Florence Nightingale also!

We hope this finds you well. Our news this week is as follows
- As of last Monday 18th May school staff may now access the building for organisation and distribution of remote learning. The advice given to schools is that where possible school staff continue to work from home. The number of staff accessing the building at one time is still limited and strict social distancing and hygiene measures must be followed. If you need to contact your child’s teacher please use the email provided by the teacher. You can contact the school also through the office email at office@tolasns.com We will also now be able to monitor the phone. The number is 061 362894. Please leave a message if it is unattended and we will reply as soon as possible.
1st Class Space Theme
May 19th, 20201st Class were exploring all things Space last week. They created their own planets, wrote some amazing space stories and did some lovely Space Art work. The children’s stories are being compiled into a class book where they will get to enjoy reading each others.
