5th Class Christmas Concert 2016

December 20th, 2016

We did Ireland’s Fittest Family this year for our concert. We really enjoyed rehearsing as there were loads of funny lines and we got to make fun of some famous people such as Marty Morrissey, Anna Geary, Lance Armstrong, Donald Trump, Joe Schmidt and Davy Fitzgerald. The songs were good fun and we got to play the tin whistle at the end of our concert. We sound much better now than we did at Halloween!! Thanks to all our families who came to watch us today. We hope you had fun!

Girls v Boys Soccer

December 8th, 2016

The girls of 6th class pulled off a master stroke today beating the boys on a score line of 5-1 in a soccer game. Needless to say there was plenty of “post match analysis” after lón today!!!! Take a look at the pictures for the tactics used by the girls – as Mr. Quinn said “It wasn’t pretty but it was effective!!!”
