Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope you are enjoying the current fine spell of warm weather and that it will last for the summer!! Our news this week is as follows
- Pupils may wear shorts to school while we have the fine weather. Please make sure that the shorts are appropriate for school and that your child can run around and play in them. They still need to wear their school t-shirt/shirt. It is also a good idea to send an extra drink in with your child during the fine weather as they may need more fluids at this time.
Second Class SkyCourt Shannon ‘Arts for School’ project
May 31st, 2018
Second class entered a Skycourt Art Competition. They designed their own hot air balloons first and the class decided on a pattern to use. The children worked collaboratively using a blank canvas, glue and lots of plastic bottle tops!!! They had great fun!!
Voting Entry forms are on the Clare Champion last week, this week and next week. Please encourage family and friends to fill out the form and return to Shannon Town Centre ‘Entry Box’. The artwork is displayed in the town centre.

- Our supplier for the school tracksuits and ties will be Ború Sports this year. They are located in Smithstown, Shannon. They have informed us that they will be able to take orders for tracksuits and sizes will be available for fitting from 10th June. The order form with prices and details will be sent out shortly for your information.

- Best of luck to the pupils from senior classes who are representing the school today at the Spar 5-a-side soccer competition for schools which takes place in Stonehall N.S. We have 10 boys and 10 girls representing the school.
