On this last day of January we hope you are well despite the cold and wet weather. Our news this week is as follows
- Thank you to all our grandparents and even some great-grandparents who joined us yesterday for our celebration of grandparents as part of Catholic Schools week. We were delighted to see so many of you there. We also remembered our grandparents who could not be with us and also those grandparents who have passed away. Thank you to all the pupils who did an amazing job with their songs and poems and also for the beautiful artwork in the hall.

- We are accepting enrolment applications for Junior Infants for the school year 2019/20. If you need an application form or know a family who are interested in having their child attend St. Tola’s please contact the school office for an application form. The closing date for receipt of applications is Thursday 31st January.

- If you have a child due to start in St. Tola’s N.S in Junior Infants next September please ensure that you complete an enrolment application form as soon as possible. These are available from the school office. Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Thursday 31st January 2019.

Happy New Year to everyone and welcome back to school for our second term of the current school year. Our news is as follows
- The Clare Interschools primary School Quiz will take place here in St. Tola’s next Thursday 17th January at 7.30p.m. We will welcome teams representing primary schools from all around Clare here to the school. We will have two quiz teams representing St. Tolas and we wish them all the best on the night.
Christmas Carol Service 2018

A wonderful carol service was held in the hall on the day of the holidays. The story of Christmas was shared as well as Christmas traditions from around the world. Children from every nationality in our school shared a Christmas greeting in their native language. Every class performed either a song or a poem also. Thanks to all our families who visited to share the morning with us. We wish our entire school community a special Christmas and every best wish for 2019!!
