Thursday Note 29th September 2016September 30th, 2016
it is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of September already. Our news this week is as follows
- The Parents’ Association AGM will take place here in the school on Tuesday next 4th Oct at 7.30p.m. All parents are welcome to attend as once you have a child enrolled in the school you are automatically a member of the Parents’ Association. This committee has done fantastic work in raising funds for the school and your help and support would be greatly appreciated.

Thursday Note 15th SeptemberSeptember 15th, 2016
We hope you are well this week. Our news is as follows:
- It has come to our attention that some pupils are returning to school after the school day if they forget a book or a copy. For child safety reasons this is not a safe practise and we cannot allow it to continue. The main door and back gate will be locked from 3pm each day and pupils are not permitted to re-enter the school at any stage in the evening. Teachers may well be in the school but they are working on their planning and may not be aware that a child is in the building. Also our cleaner Rima washes and cleans all the floors every day and these may well be slippy. If your child forgets to bring something home they will have to wait until the next day to get it in school. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
Thursday Note 8th SeptemberSeptember 9th, 2016
We hope you are well this week. Our news is as follows
- Our new Junior Infants are really settling into “big school” this week and we are delighted with how well they are doing. From next Monday 12th Sept the Juniors will go home at the normal time of 1.40p.m. We would ask Junior Infant parents to come in the back gate or side entrance at the playschool when collecting as the school hall may be in use by other classes at this time.
