Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well this week as we come to the end of another month. Our news this week is as follows

• Preparations are well under way for our 40^th anniversary Variety Show to take place on 12^th and 13^th December.  Tickets go on sale from tomorrow and may be purchased from the school office. Seating is limited in the hall so tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. The cost is €10 per adult, €5 for second level students and €2.50 for primary students. We also have a grand raffle taking place on both nights with prizes to include – One for all Voucher to the value of €100, vouchers for dinner for two from Shannon Springs Hotel and the Park Inn, an Ikidz box, afternoon tea in the Inn at Dromoland and the Radisson Limerick, a beautiful pendant from Tadhg Kearney jewellers and many more. Tickets cost €3 and cards went home this week.  All funds raised will go towards our yard redevelopment fund. We hope to improve and increase the yard space at the front of the school so that it can be used all year round. At present the grassy areas get waterlogged in the winter and they cannot be used for much of the year. We thank you for your support for this fundraising event.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope you are well this week. Our news is as follows

• Preparations are well under way for our Variety Concert to celebrate 40 years of the school. This will take place on 12^th and 13^th December and tickets will go on sale shortly. All monies raised will go towards our yard development fund.  The Board of Management hopes to extend and develop the front yard for the benefit of all pupils so that we have more space that can be used all year round.  This will be an expensive project but very worthwhile and we thank you for your continued support.

• Thank you to all parents/guardians who attended our parent/teacher meetings this week. It was great to see so many of you. You are welcome to meet your child’s class teacher at any stage during the year if you have a worry or concern. As teachers are busy with their class it is a good idea to make an appointment so that teacher is available to meet with you.

We hope you are well this week and had an enjoyable break from school routines over the mid-term. Our news this week is as follows;

• Thank you to all the families who donated shoeboxes so far. The final date for dropping them off is tomorrow morning Friday 9^th November. It is lovely that so many families shared a little with boys and girls in other countries who may not be so fortunate. It will be greatly appreciated.
