How active is our school?

May 7th, 2019

The Active School Committee recently conducted a whole school survey to find out what clubs in the local area  our students are members of. The results were phenomenal with our students being members of almost 20 clubs. We have students partaking in the likes of GAA, soccer, dancing, gymnastics, rugby and equestrian to name but a few. GAA, swimming and soccer were the top three, closely followed by Irish dancing and hip hop. We have a very fit school!

LAND PAWS

May 7th, 2019

Second and Fourth class both took part in the LAND PAWS programme recently. PAWS was created by Irish Water Safety to inform children of life saving guidelines. The programme teaches children how to be safe around water in different environments such as; homes, farms, pools, beaches and waterways.

Both classes successfully completed the programme and were delighted to receive their certificates at the end.
