Uniform Survey for Parents Feedback

Many thanks to all those who took time to complete our recent uniform survey. It was great to get feedback from parents and it has been very beneficial in helping us make decisions about our uniform and tracksuit.

  • 94.4% of parents are in favour of having a school tracksuit.
  • 85.2% of parents are in favour of having a school uniform.

Therefore, pupils will continue to wear tracksuit or uniform to school.

Cost and accessibility were at the forefront of concerns for parents, therefore if you do not wish for your child to wear the uniform then they may wear the school tracksuit every day.

In September, teachers will notify parents and pupils of PE days to ensure tracksuits are worn on those days for those who would like to wear the uniform.

The school uniform will remain the same.

Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore

Blue shirt

Grey cardigan/jumper

Blue and white tie. (The tie is optional)

Following on further from your feedback, we have decided to change the tracksuit to make it more accessible, more cost effective and more comfortable. Parents were particularly concerned about the bottoms being easy to get and being able to purchase them all year round.

From September 2022 the school tracksuit will be as follows:

New Design Blue Tracksuit Top –

Purchased from Boru Sports, Smithstown 061 364750 (approximately €26)

Blue Polo Shirt –

Can be purchased anywhere

Plain Navy Tracksuit Bottoms –

These can be purchased anywhere. (*Please ensure there is no other colours or stripes on them, just plain navy*. Leggings are not allowed)

Pupils can continue to wear the old tracksuit top with navy bottoms for the coming school year 2022/23.

*Please Note – We will notify parents by text and email as soon as the new tracksuit tops are available to purchase from Boru Sports*.
