Confirmation 2020
August 1st, 20206th class shared a special Confirmation celebration with their families and classmates this week. Unfortunately, due to restrictions in recent months, the class had no opportunity to practice for the ceremony. You would not have thought it!! Well done everyone. Thanks to Fr. Arnie and Fr. Francis who led the mass and special thanks to Ms. Halliday for her amazing singing on the altar, assisted ably by Annette on the organ. Thanks to Mary Conneely for having the church looking wonderful and to all the volunteers from the community who helped to maintain healthy sanitising for all in attendance. The day would not be possible only for all the hard preparatory work from Ms. Kelleher and Tracey who made sure all the booklets and name badges were ready for each child. It will be a Confirmation we’ll all remember for years to come. It was the school’s last official interaction with this wonderful class of children but we know we’ll see many of you again in the not too distant future…our doors are always open!!
Graduation 2020
June 23rd, 2020Not to let anything stop this class, as it wouldn’t be their way, 6th class had a lovely Graduation ceremony this morning, albeit remotely via Zoom. Ms. Fitzgerald and Ms. Kelleher spoke warmly of their experiences with the children and shared some important messages which we hope they’ll bring with them to secondary school. Thanks to all the children for sharing all their happy memories and giving advice on the video. We hope you like it!! Well done 6th class, you’ve all been amazing and we’ll miss you dearly.
